Welcome! You can call me Kåre (pronounced: "car") or Hallow!

I'm a transmasc (he/they) semi-realism Digital Artist that specializes in illustrating characters (human, anthro/furry, dragons, fantasy, monsters, werewolves, etc.) and painting scenery. I also make Fursuits for affordable prices.. 🎃✨

This page is still very much 🚧Under Construction🏗️

👻 About the Maker 👻

So you're interested in my Fursuit work?

I finished my first personal Fursuit "Hallow the Halloween Hyena" back in October 2024, and have 3 Clients (as of writing) in my active Working Queue, so I'm still a pretty NEW Maker. 🎃✨My entire workflow has recently upgraded from traditional carved foam to 3D printed TPU+PLA/ABS. I also love sculpting in Blender, so I'm very excited to develop my very own Species Bases and experiment with shapes!

Here's the features that I feel set Hallowyeen Patchworks apart:

  • CUSTOM TPU HEAD BASE. My one-man studio is currently equipped with a Flashforge Adventurer 5M, and looking to add a dual-filament workhorse ASAP. And I've already successfully utilized my Blender knowledge to make custom parts like Eye Blanks, Magnetic Eyelids, and Noses for current projects.

  • FLUENT IN BLENDER. I've been making stuff in Blender (sculpts, models, 3D animation, shaders/materials, etc) for over a decade now, and am very excited that my skills are proving transferrable to Fursuit!

  • CUSTOM EYE SHAPES. Since the entire Head Base is 3D sculpted, ALL associated Fursuit Parts and add-ons fit perfectly in place. Strong magnets are installed in every set, allowing for Magnetic Eyelids. The eyes are finished with 2mm thick felt along the lash-line which is stiff and resistant to brushing.

  • CUSTOM PLUSH JAW SET & MORE. I love making these!! Every jaw set is patterned and painstakingly hand-sewn with Dual Duty polyester thread. The teeth, gums, nose, and other facial details -- which aren't eye-related -- are all high-quality minky and super soft too.

  • SHORT WAITLIST. I prefer to work on projects in small batches of 2-3 Clients, maximum. This way I can dedicate all the attention I need to bring your character to life.. and make any extra non-Fursuit goodies too before it's shipping time. This also means you don't have to wait too long before the creation process begins and you start getting updates!

I demonstrate what my process looks like on the following pages:

This page is still very much 🚧Under Construction🏗️

👻 Current Workflow 👻

Thank you for your interest in my work! Here I'll share a little bit about my current process, so you can have a good idea of what to expect if you select me as your Maker.

I'll be using my partner's suit, Lyria the Demon Bat, as an example! 😈🦇

REFERENCE SHEET. Every commission begins with your character/sona’s design! The sheet must include: full-body front, side, and back views; plus eye, paw, and mouth detail. I can offer a 50% discount on making one for you myself too.

CHARACTER STUDIES. I'll gather my references and do sketches of your character and their species from several different angles. This is to pin down their shapes in preparation for the next step.

BLENDER SCULPTING. I’ve been using Blender since 2018, and I utilize everything I've learned from my game artist background to create a head base.

3D PRINTING. Head bases are printed with high-quality TPU Air filament, which is extra squishy! Eye shapes are prototyped here too.

ASSEMBLE BASE. The base is glued together and the ears are attached to supports.

HAND-PAINTED EYE MESH. This is my favorite part of the fursuit-making process! I'll prototype different eye shine styles and shapes with you before I begin painting. The backs of the mesh are painted black for excellent visibility too.

PATTERN THE HEAD. The base is covered in masking tape and markings are drawn on the surface, along with other important notations, such as: color, pile direction (arrows), dashes, pattern #’s, etc.

PRE-SHAVE FUR. Transferred the pattern to fur and organized the pieces so that those that need to be pre-shaved are near one another. Using professional clippers with a ceramic blade, I trim the fur islands.

LOTS OF SEWING. I use a combination of machine and hand-sewing to attach all the pieces together with thread color-matched to the fur.

ADJUSTABLE HEAD STRAP. Nylon webbing and elastic with quick-release buckle and tri-glide slides secure the mask in place.

HEAD LINER. The inside of the head is lined with neoprene for a comfortable fursuiting experience.

GLUE FUR. Allowance is cut from the fur and the face is glued to the base.

MORE 3D PRINTING. Eye blanks and eyelid sets are sanded on areas that will see adhesive.

ASSEMBLE EYE BLANKS. Neodymium magnets are glued onto eyelids with E-6000, and the eyes are finished with thick felt. Beneath the felt is a magnetic sheet which allows for eyelid sets that stay put even with intense jostling.

INSTALL EYES. They are removable using a release button on the inside of the mask. This allows for stress-free Fursuit cleaning between cons!

HAIRSTYLE / MANE. I demo the hairstyle with layers of thin EVA foam before transferring the pattern to fabric. Lyria features swappable bangs to allow for different looks~

PATTERN MOUTH. Teeth shapes are drafted with paper cutouts, placed in the mouth, and viewed from many angles to check the fit.

HAND-SEW PLUSH JAW SET. One of the most time-consuming parts of the process, but the end result is satisfying. I pin and hand-sew the gums to the teeth.

INSTALL MOUTH & NOSE. Parts are glued into place and then hand-sewn to the surrounding fabric.

FURSUIT NECK + LINER. The neck is hand-sewn to the head, and the inside of the mask is patterned. Liner is made of neoprene.

PAW TIME. Big ol’ bappers and strong claws, with a TPU core! Hand Paws feature hidden finger escapes, so pulling your phone out for pics while suited-up isn’t a chore.

PATTERN TAIL. This one is a Super-Motion Tail that wiggles and bounces as you walk. Sections are printed and glued together, then taped to get the pattern.

MORE SEWING & FURRING. Lyria’s tail has complex stripes and ends in a heart/spade!

FUR & HAIR STYLING. I go in with my trimmers & scissors to sculpt and style the fur to perfection. I use Got2B to hold the synthetic fibers in place~

POSEABLE WINGS. TPU core with flexible joints and elastic, Lyria’s wings can be open or closed.. or anything in-between!

PHOTO SHOOT! Thanks so much for walking with me through my creative process as a Fursuit Maker. I made Hallow some Paws using leftover fur too! Check out #fursuits-pricing for my

👻 Old Workflow 👻
(Hallow the Hyena)

I’m including this simply for posterity sake and for anyone that is curious how I got started with making Fursuits. I use my personal suit, Hallow the Hyena, in the WIPs below!

REFERENCE. The first step in any creative process: decide what I wanted to make. I've always related to hyenas, even more so since accepting myself as trans. Every project will include a sheet similar to this!

SCULPT. I use polymer clay to sculpt over a ¼ scale resin bust I got from Kazplay (which you can find here on their Etsy). The finished sculpt is then baked in an oven to cure the clay.

PATTERN. Once hardened and cooled, I then cover the sculpt in masking tape, mark where I want the seams to be, and cut out the pieces so they lay flat. Then it's scanned, sized-up on my computer, and printed out.

CUT & GLUE FOAM. Using that pattern, I trace onto 1" foam and begin the gluing process. Once everything is attached, then I trim the shapes down with a boxcutter and snippers.

JAW SET. Began working on this plush jaw set! The pattern is by RubensMagicLab and it really challenged my sewing skills.

3D EYES. I used 5mm EVA foam for the sclera and rim, Eye mesh is vinyl and painted with acrylic markers.

MARKINGS PATTERN. Covered half of the head with masking tape and noted markings, fur direction, etc. Nose pattern here!!

FURRING & SHAVING. Many, many days of hand-sewing later.. head is almost finished here! I carefully shave the excess fur with my Wahl clippers, lubricant I use here.

HAND PAWS. Customized a five-fingered pattern by WingLeafWorkshop to match with his drawn reference. The beans are stuffed for that puffy paw style!

MORE DETAILS. Hand-sewn the claws from fleece, packed them full of stuffing, and carefully attached them to each finger.

EVEN MORE DETAILS. Pinned down a rolled strip of black fleece for his lips and glued on the whisker dimples. Was very quickly approaching the Halloween '24 deadline..

NECK & TAIL. I didn't manage to get either of these parts done in time for Halloween, but here's him all assembled! I followed the super-motion video tutorial by Neffertity and it really does sway and bounce around as I move. Cute!

PROFIT! Thanks for walking with me through this step-by-step preview of my work process! I'm excited to hone my skills, so if you're interested.. contact me and check out #fursuits-pricing for what I offer!

NEW EYES. I gave my boy a little upgrade right before Furlandia '25~ Visibility was so much better using the eye mesh I ordered for my current batch of Clients.

👻 Fursuit Pricing 👻

Fursuit Commissions:
CLOSED for 2026..

But you can still submit an application for a Fursuit Quote! You may have missed my window for this being on the next batch, but I'll get back to you ASAP with Waitlist availability. 🎃✨Thank you for your time and interest! This page serves as a guide for the Fursuit Commissions I'm currently offering. Prices DO NOT include shipping.I also have a table for easy browsing. Click the links for a scroll-point to view more information about specific fursuit parts.

Pricing includes 4 fur colors, additional colors can be added for $60/each.

Every Partial & Head comes with complementary neoprene balaclavas and a Fursuit Care Kit!

Mini Partial

  • Comes with fursuit head, hand paws, and a stuffed tail! See below sections for detailed breakdown of what each fursuit part features.

Full Partial

  • Comes with fursuit head, hand paws, arm sleeves with adjustable harness, detachable super-motion tail, and indoor feet paws! See below sections for detailed breakdown of what each fursuit part features.

Head ONLY

  • All my fursuit heads (2027+) are constructed on a 3D-printed TPU base, fully lined, and feature: plush minky maw, poseable/removable tongue, follow-me eyes (with neodymium magnets), pickable nose hand-sewn over a TPU core, minky/felt detailing (lips, whisker dimples, eyelashes), sewn-on neck, and fursuit hair/mane styling. The adjustable nylon-webbing harness inside the head has a quick-release buckle and a bit of elastic too, making it easier to put on and take off.

  • GOT GLASSES? Well I have some good news.. I also need them to see, so all of my heads automatically are glasses-friendly.

Hand Paws

  • Hand paws are lined and feature: stuffed minky beans (puffy paw style), sturdy claws sewn onto a TPU core, hidden finger escapes, and finished cuffs with left/right tags. The finger escapes are on the thumb, fore, and middle fingers (unless specified).

Feet Paws

  • Feet paws are fully lined inside and feature: stuffed minky beans (puffy paw style), sturdy claws sewn over a TPU core, and finished cuffs with left/right tags. Thick EVA foam is used for the inner sole to provide structure and a surface for the TPU toes/heel to attach to.

Arm Sleeves

  • Arm sleeves are fully lined inside with finished cuffs, feature an adjustable nylon+elastic harness (with quick-release buckle) to link one sleeve to the other across your shoulders. They also have attachment points at the wrist to keep them flush with your hand paws~

Stuffed Tail

  • This style of tail is packed with polyester fiber fill and features loops of nylon webbing on a minky base to thread a belt through. Depending on the size of the tail, I’ll broaden the base to distribute the weight evenly and support a kidney belt too.

  • For tails sized large or extra-large (floor-dragger), the stuffing is removable via a hidden zipper along the bottom for easier travelling.

Super-Motion Tail

  • This style of tail features a segmented TPU core flanked by lengths of elastic that allows it to naturally move/bounce around as you walk, and is easily detachable! This is most useful during convention panels, where sitting comfortably while a tail is attached to your bum is a challenge.

  • If you’re worried about tail thieves or are busting some serious moves, you can lock the tail to the base too as-needed.

Simple Wings

  • Simple wings are patterned and sewn over a TPU core as a connected piece and flap/move with shoulder movements. The included adjustable nylon+elastic harness features a quick release buckle and wings themselves can be detached while keeping the harness on under your outfit. Also come with a hidden strap to keep them closer to your body while navigating high-traffic areas, such as the Dealer’s Den.

Poseable Wings

  • Poseable wings are also patterned+sewn over a TPU base and even share all the features of simple wings above: adjustable nylon-elastic harness, easily detachable, hidden strap. The distinction is that these wings have braided wire installed at every joint.. allowing them to be posed!! Very cool indeed~

👻 Fursuit Add-ons 👻

Here's all the additional items I offer that can be shipped with your completed Fursuit! I'm planning to add more things will after I'm able to prototype them, so check back in the future~

Magnetic Eyelids
(set of 4)

  • Price gets you three emotional states (e.g. angry, sad, half-lidded; custom requests allowed) and 1 fully-closed state. Eyelids are 3D-printed in ABS/PETG and feature doubled-up neodymium magnets that provide excellent hold, stiff 2mm-thick felt eyelashes, left/right labels, and color-coded backs for easier swapping while suited-up.

  • The fully-closed eyelids have a narrow strip of black eye-mesh, so you’re not completely blind.. but still exercise caution and have a handler with you, if possible.

Swappable Bangs

  • Trying to wear a hat or other headgear while suited? Or maybe you’d like your vision to be unobstructed by fluffy fursuit hair? This add-on is the elegant solution! Swappable bangs come with both a furred no-bangs (optional hair part detail) version in addition to the with-bangs one. Same as the eyelid sets, both panels are installed with large neodymium magnets to hold them securely in place.

  • Kit also includes the STL (personal use ONLY), extra magnets, and PDF guide for making your own swappable plugs.

Fursuit Care Kit
(FREE w/Partials)

  • Care kit includes: high-quality fur brush with epoxy tips, smaller cat brush (unshielded), rat-tail comb, medium bottle of scentless fursuit spray, small bottle of Folex textile cleaner, color-matched thread, sewing needles, seam ripper, measuring tape, jack-o-lantern pincushion, straight pins, safety pins, and hand-sewing guide.

  • Everything comes in a Hallowyeen Patchworks carrying case to keep your fursuit care supplies together and organized!

Traditional Art Badge
(alcohol & acrylic markers)

  • 100% traditional, hand-made art created by yours-truly with alcohol and acrylic markers on super smooth 110LB/160GSM mixed-media paper. Badge comes laminated with your fursona name, species, and handle printed clearly on the patterned cardstock backing.

  • Also includes a free lanyard and clear pouch to house your con badge, and/or stickers plus business cards for easy distribution~

Feet Paw Protectors

  • Styled to look like sneakers/boots with a clear vinyl at the toe, these slide over your feet paws to stop any dirt, mud, and other outdoor debris from damaging your soft beans. Each pair is custom fit, themed to your fursona, and are secured closed using industrial-strength velcro; laces are decorative.

  • The inner sole is made of 1cm-thick EVA foam, with the outer sole being rubber (with tread/tooth) for good traction while navigating the outdoors. Go wild.. literally!

Hallowyeen Patchworks
Storage Tote

  • A collapsible storage tote to keep your fursuit head and parts in when you’re not currently wearing them! Features a clear vinyl panel with small vents on the front, Hallowyeen Patchworks logo on the top, rigid interior siding, and zipper pouches inside to organize additional supplies.

  • The back of the tote is padded and features adjustable straps, which allow you to even wear it as a backpack too!

WIP Photo Album

  • Want to revisit the creation process for your fursuit from concept art to the final photo shoot? I can gather up all the WIP (work-in-progress) photos, select the best ones for printing, and organize them all into a physical album for your viewing pleasure.

  • Price can vary depending on the number of photos and album size.

Fursona Stickers

  • Digital art of your fursona/character printed onto vinyl to share with your friends and fellow sticker fiends! You can specify the theme, memes, or leave it completely up to me. You’re guaranteed to get at least 3 designs, and at least 5 copies of each individually. Larger order? Then more stickers for you.. :3

  • PNG files are provided too via email, so you can order duplicates on your own after the ones included with your order are all used up~

👻 Measuring Guide👻

This page is still 🚧Under Construction🏗️

Unsure what measurements I need from you and how to take them? Here's a guide for you that includes labeled diagrams! Red is closer to the viewer, while yellow is further away. Please use flexible measuring tape and take the measurements in centimeters ONLY. Have a notepad ready to write the numbers down, and round up to the nearest whole number! For hands, arms, legs, and feet: remember to repeat measurements for both sides of the body! Label them with “L” (left) and “R” (right) accordingly to keep things organized.

Head & Neck Measurements

  • Head Circumference. Wrap the measuring tape around the widest part of your head – just above the eyebrows and over the back of your skull.

  • Neck Circumference. Wrap the measuring tape snugly around the base of your neck, as well as at the top (right below your jawline).

  • Clavicle-to-Clavicle. Measure straight across from the base of one clavicle to the same point on the other.

  • Head Height. Place one end of the measuring tape on top of your head and measure in a straight line down the front of your face, over your nose, and to the bottom of your chin.

  • Eye Distance. Measure from the center of your left eye straight across to the center of your right eye. This makes sure that the aperture in the eye blanks aligns with your eye position inside of the mask.

  • Got Glasses? Then I need these 2 measurements of your frames: straight across at the widest part, and vertically at the tallest point.

Hand Paw Measurements

  • Hand Length. From the tip of the longest finger down to your wrist.

  • Palm Width. Measure straight across the widest part of your open hand, just below the knuckles.

  • Wrist Circumference. Wrap the measuring tape snugly around your wrist.

  • Forearm Circumference. Wrap the measuring tape snugly around the thickest part of your forearm, about #cm below the elbow.

Feet Paw Measurements

  • Foot Length. Stand flat-footed on a sheet of paper and trace the outline of your bare foot with pen/pencil. Measure the vertical distance from the heel to the longest toe on the tracing.

  • Foot Width. Measure the widest part across the ball of your foot on that same paper tracing.

  • Ankle Circumference. Wrap the measuring tape around your ankle, making sure to include the outer bump.

  • Calf Circumference. Wrap the measuring tape around your lower leg, about #cm below the inside of the knee.

  • Heel to Knee. Measure from your heel to your knee on the outside of your leg.

Arm Sleeve Measurements

  • Outer Arm Length. Measure from your outer shoulder joint, down the outside of your slightly bent arm, all the way to your wrist.

  • Armpit to Wrist. Keeping your arm in the same slightly-bent position, repeat for the inside of your arm. Measuring from the arm pit down to your wrist.

  • Shoulder Width. Measure straight across your upper back, from the tip of one shoulder blade to the other. The arm sleeve harness is adjustable, but this helps me pin down the allowance needed for the tri-glide straps.

  • Bicep Circumference. Flex your bicep so that the muscles are engaged and measure around the thickest part of your upper arm.

  • Forearm Circumference. Wrap the measuring tape snugly around the thickest part of your forearm, about #cm below the elbow.

🍬 About the Artist 🍬

I've been doing Art Commissions in a professional capacity since 2016, and have even more experience via my personal art. I'm self-taught and always eager to push my limits as an artist. I also love tabletop gaming (D&D, Pathfinder, etc.) and would love to have the opportunity to draw your characters interacting with their party members!

Here I provide a little breakdown of what can or can't do!

Strengths
I can draw almost any character race/species! Including dragons, avians, anthro/furry, humans, cryptids, TTRPG characters, etc.
Scenes where character interaction is the focus, especially where facial expression and body language is concerned.
All body types welcome! Especially if there's a big difference between one another, it's a guilty pleasure of mine..
Weaknesses
Scenes with very complex perspective that incorporate lots of buildings/architecture, like a busy city environment.
I struggle most with hard, mechanical surfaces as the main subject of a piece, such as mechs/robots, heavy armor, and detailed metalwork.

🍬 Terms of Service 🍬

Here I provide detailed information for my Art Commission policies. This is the contract between artist (me) and client (you), so please read carefully before commissioning me!

Last Updated : --

  • BE RESPECTFUL. I’m an artist with physical and mental disabilities that can impact my ability to be productive. Please be kind and understanding when working with me. If something comes up that affects my turnaround time, I'll mention it in #art-updates and do my best to reach out via email or Discord(@fluffgator).

  • ZERO HATE SPEECH. I won’t tolerate any of the following: rude/abusive messages, racist or religious remarks, lgbtq+ hate, and supporting pedophilia/zoophilia. The first time I’ll give you a warning. The second time results in blacklisting and your Commission being cancelled without a refund.

  • ANTI-AI CREATOR. I'm strongly against image generation AI and refuse to work with anyone that supports it or NFTs or any of the latest tech bro scams! I will NEVER consent to my art being used to train data models.

  • AGE POLICY. You must be OVER 18 to commission me! I will not accept a quote request from a minor whatsoever, even if discussed with a parent/guardian. If I find out that you've lied about your age, your Commission will be cancelled with no refund provided.

  • NSFW/KINK. I'm open to doing NSFW and kink-related art as long as it is something I would enjoy drawing. Contact me for access to my f-list and to discuss before filling out an application.

  • REQUEST A QUOTE. Please browse my available Commission types on #digiart-catalog or through my Ko-fi Store to see what I can offer! Once you have an idea of what you'd like to order, you can fill out an Application Form or purchase a slot on Ko-fi.

  • NO REFERENCE SHEET? No problem! While a reference sheet or existing art examples of the character are preferred, I'm more than capable of working from a written description. If you have a very specific outfit that you'd like them to be wearing, please provide links to their listings/images.

  • PAYMENT. I process payments through PayPal/Stripe invoicing or my Ko-fi Store. This offers the best protections for both customer and artist when doing business online. Once your Application has been reviewed, I'll send you an email to let you know if it's been approved/denied. If approved, please be ready to pay! If the total cost of the Commission exceeds $40USD and the piece is NOT a "YCH Auction/Sale", I require a minimum payment of at least 30% to add you my Work Queue. Otherwise, it must be paid in full. Until a Commission is fully paid for, only sketch/composition related updates will be provided.

  • WAITLIST & WORK QUEUE. I utilize a Trello Board to keep track of both my Digital Art and Fursuit customers, which you can find here. I work on Commissions in the order they are received and paid for. If another customer behind you has finished paying for their Commission, they'll be moved up in the Work Queue. And if my Commissions are currently "Closed", feel free to email me and I can add you to my Waitlist while we discuss details.

  • REFUNDS. I can provide full refunds ONLY within 30 days of your purchase, minus transaction fees. If I've already begun working on your Commission, the refunded amount will be minus the cost for the current progress of the piece. Please allow 3-4 days from the date of a refund approval for processing the payment. I'll be in close communication with you via email or Discord(@fluffgator) to ensure you get your refund in a timely manner. Exceeding 30 days and if work has begun on your Commission, I cannot provide a refund. Please don't commission me if you're not financially stable enough to afford doing so.

  • CHARGEBACKS. Please give me a chance to talk with you before you resort to filing a Chargeback. I'm a low-income artist and taking this course of action is extremely harmful to my physical/mental well-being. If progress images or finished Digital Art Commission has been delivered, issuing a Chargeback for any reason without notification is invalid. You'll be blacklisted and reported to my payment platforms as a scammer.

  • ARTIST CREDIT. Always credit me when reposting Commissioned art! You can link to my #digiart-catalog and/or my Bluesky at: https://fluffgator.bsky.social/.

  • PERSONAL USE ONLY. All Commissions are licensed for Personal Use Only! As the artist, I hold the rights to the completed work(s) and may use it however I like, such as: posting to my online galleries, using the art to create adverts, and similar. Contact me via email if you're interested in licensing for Commercial Use projects.

  • DIGITAL GOODS. All transactions for Digital Art Commissions are for digital images only! No physical items are to be shipped, unless explicitly stated in the invoice (printed/laminated badges, art prints, etc).
